Hardware - Chassis
I am on medical leave from Wednesday to Friday due to eye infection (sakit matalah pulak!!). During these days I was just updating the blog and search for some programming examples and tutorials for micromouse. Not much can be done because I was not feeling well. However, tonight I manage to assemble the ball casters and make some modification on the chassis by building a sliding platform to assemble voltage regulator, motor driver and PIC on top of it.

2 set of ball casters are placed in front and back of the chassis |

Basically the base and the platform measurement is 9cm x 12cm. However, the platform was cut smaller into 9cm x 9cm to allow battery to be placed right behind the motor. The platform has a square hole in the centre to allow cables from motors and sensors to go through. A few stands made from perspek were constructed to hold the sensors. Thinner was used to attach the perspek.

The circuit boards were drilled and attached to the platform by using plastic spacer.

Finally, my 1st prototype almost complete...
